Just like the other Cameroon items from Gottex, this swimsuit is one of the most interesting and thoughtfully designed items around. Cameroon is more than just a named pulled from an atlas. It is the true spirit of this design. Once a French colony, Cameroon's fashion and art was inevitably inspired by the beautiful fashions of Parisian society. That's why you see the lace material on the sides of the swimsuit. As for the leopard, that's the home grown and native part of the design. Cameroon is in West Africa and if this region is known for anything, it is its stunning and unique wildlife. Gottex have honoured that beautiful part of this nation perfectly with a leopard print front. For two pieces of history to be honoured in one design is clever, but to have them so far apart it terms of appearance and still work so naturally together is a thing of beauty. This version of Cameroon is soft cupped and uses a broad square neckline. It also features light control.
