Emerald Isle is one of the most interesting and accomplished designs of the year from Gottex. It is truly a case of still waters running deep, with one of the most mellow palettes of the season, but this simple swathe of blues makes a big impact and has far more to it that you might first think. The flowers on the cups use the technique chiaroscuro, the balancing of light and dark colours, to create depth and make the flowers look alive. The bottoms also features some amazing artistic wizardry, like the sequin and scale effect. This is so realistic we had to double check with someone to make sure it was a print, which it is, rather than stitched sequins. The use of trompe-l'oeil, or "deceiving the eye", makes this look positively alive and it is hard to look at this and think it is a print. This bikini features moulded cups and a push up effect with underwiring to give you maximum support. The straps are removable and the top is convertible to give you even more options.
