Whilst Gottex have often attempted to meld the old and the new in their seasonal collections, this design, the Kira swimsuit, is truly futuristic and is a step away from their other prints. The thick black stripes forming an X and two deep belts across the waist and bust are realised using extra bands of fabric atop the vibrant blocks of turquoise and aquamarine. The back continues with the black block theme by culminating in a lightly ruched V-shaped plunge back. The harsh shape and defined cut combine with this eye-catching colour scheme to provide a striking forward-looking swimsuit.
